DESCRIPTION
- The Consort made its appearance in 1953 fitted with the excellent Villiers 4F 98cc engine
- Using a simple rigid loop frame, 19” wheels and small drum brakes, its two speeds were ample for its light weight
- It became a popular choice amongst cash-strapped commuters, offering basic local transport
- This example has been part of a small motorcycle collection for a few years
- It's supplied with its UK V5C and a dating letter from the VMCC
