A general classic car sale will take place on the Friday with the British Marques sale taking place on the Saturday at Heythrop Park. Over 100 cars are expected across the two day sale with viewing for both sale days on the Friday the 10th.
The Jaguar Enthusiasts’ Club will be holding a Gala Dinner on the Saturday evening after the sale which will round off events at Heythrop, before moving to Blenheim Palace on the Sunday for further celebrations, a concours, parades and entertainment.
Arwel Richards, Classic Car Specialist and Silverstone Auctions Manager commented "Based in the heart of the Midlands, our close links with the British car industry's unique heritage made our partnership with Jaguar Enthusiast Club a natural choice for our forthcoming British Marques, hosted at Heythrop Park the day after our classic and modern exotic sale."
"All JEC members qualify for complimentary submission and not just for Jaguars but for any best of breed example of automotive quality."
With a number of exciting cars being consigned and more to follow in the coming weeks, The British Marques sale will be a highlight for enthusiasts and an opportunity to find your next investment.
"Our team of consignors are specialists in British heritage cars and the Saturday's British Marques catalogue will be made up of the finest examples built by Aston Martin, AC, Austin-Healey, Rolls, Bentley and naturally Jaguar."
"We are reflecting the needs of this enthusiast-led market by hand picking cars of the highest calibre and the two day sale at Heythrop Park will offer participants an experience closer in spirit to a Concours d'Elegance. What better way to spend a day than with a glass of Pimm's in the manicured grounds of one of the Cotswolds' finest houses with a collection of carefully chosen cars showcasing the glorious design and engineering of the past." Continued Arwel.
Andy Webber, Events and Sponsorship Manager for the Jaguar Enthusiasts’ Club commented “Working with our Jaguar Enthusiasts’ Club members and Silverstone Auctions to consign the best Jaguars in the market is extremely important to the JEC, not only for the Heythrop Park sale but going forward across all Silverstone sales. These partnerships not only give further benefits to our members but also help the club stage flagship events that only get better thanks to the profile that Silverstone Auctions bring.”
