"The Mini Thirty. Never before has one so little offered you so much." - Well that's what the Austin Rover sales brochure offered. It certainly was the most attractively specified Mini ever to emerge from the factory up to 1989. Sold to mark the 30th anniversary of the Mini's launch in 1959, the Thirty was a Limited Edition of 3000 cars - 2000 in Cherry Red and 1000 in Black. Both were Pearlescent finishes, Pearl being the 30th anniversary gemstone. This particular Mini Thirty was put into storage in 1994 due to its owner's work commitments and only came back to the road in December 2010 at which time it was resprayed. There are two changes of ownership, the last change being October '93, there are also MoT's for '93 to '94 (2003 miles) and ‘94 to '95 (2011 miles). There is no further MoT history until 30th March 2012 when it passed. The speedo currently reads 2200 miles which given the overall condition would not be challenged, however, we advise all potential buyers to be aware that this car was subject to an insurance total loss payment in March 1990. The car looks stunning, drives superbly and has not suffered the ravages of the UK climate.
